Donald Trumps sons and their wildlife killing spree
Business Mogul Donald Trump´s sons, Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump returned from a wildlife killing spree in Zimbabwe and their 'trophy' photo's has made it's way onto the net. Needless to say the pride that has been caught on camera for killing these beautiful animals has sparked an outrage. The photo´s show the boys posing with the game they shot - taking out among others, a leopard, an elephant, a crocodile and a kudu. One photo in particular which has ruffled many tail feathers is that of Donald Trump Jr posing with an elephant's tail and the carcass at his feet.
The eldest of the Trumps took to Twitter in response to the criticism and stated "I´m a hunter, for that I make no apologies," I´m sorry, did he just say "he´s a hunter"? A Hunter! What are we back in the dinosaur ages? And that coming from someone who has had life handed to him on a silver platter by his wealthy father.
And yes, there's the age-old argument that the money paid by hunters to kill an elephant, rhino, leopard etc. contributes towards conservation and the protection of natural habitats - but, is that really what this is about? Jr further took to Twitter with the following comment - “Bottom line with out hunters $ there wouldn´t be much left of africa. Eco is nice but no $." If these boys really cared about Africa, I´m sure the hunters fees they paid was mere pocket change and could have effortlessly been donated. Truth is, money can´t buy respect or morals - it can however get you a spell and grammar check Trump.
Anyway, disgusting as these photo's appear, I'm going to sit on the fence just a little. In reality, these guys never broke the law, what they did is perfectly legal. Sad as it may be, hunting safari's are permitted and may very well contribute to the economy in some areas - the extent of which I cannot confirm. I pose the question then, could this be a necessary evil?

Stop killing our animals. You guys and the people allowing this kind of killing for money is an absolute disgrace. It is no different from killing the rhino's & elephants.
